High-performance computing and data security

The programs we predominantly use for performing our calculations are:

  • Ansys Workbench
  • Ansys Classic
  • LS-Dyna incl. LS-PrePost

 

Furthermore, we use various programs for the design and analysis of components. These include:

  • RSTAB
  • WIAM fatigue RIFEST
  • IWM VERB
  • MDESIGN

 

For sensitivity analyses (calculation of factors influencing loading) and statistical analysis, we use the following software:

  • optiSLang
  • Statistics on Structures

 

For CAD applications, we have access to the following software:

  • CATIA V5
  • Ansys SpaceClaim
  • Ansys DesignModeler

 

For performing the calculations, we have our own 36-core HPC cluster (high-performance computing). Sufficient capacity is thus available, even at high workloads and where calculating complex or computationally intensive tasks.

 

In the event that this capacity is still not adequate, it is possible to rent additional server capacity via eCADFEM and thus perform suitable calculations even for extremely complex and large components. Where required, we also book additional specialised licences (e.g. Ansys-CFX or Icepak), and thus react to your precise requirements.

 

We archive all calculation data and documentation on our own in-house server or through local encrypted backups. The eCADFEM servers are also located in computer centres in Germany, so that a high level of data security privacy can be guaranteed according to German standards.
