Erfahrung im Bereich FEM-Strukturmechanik und ANSYS-Anwendung seit mehr als 40 Jahren

ITB GmbH was founded 20 years ago – a success story we celebrated this year. We now look back on our exciting founding history and development to date – From MBP to ITB – A Success Story
In April 2024, we founded our subsidiary, ITB ENGINEERING SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED, in Pune, India.
The establishment of ITB ENGINEERING SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is a step in expanding our global presence and our endeavour to make our services accessible to a wider audience. Special thanks go to Rushab Oswal, our new Managing Director in Pune, who played an important role at ITB GmbH in Dortmund for three years as a calculation engineer.

In October 2023, we received approval from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) for the ZIM individual project "Development of a scalable service for the simulation of light guides with variant calculation and automated workflow."

Since August 2023, we have expanded our service portfolio to include flow simulations.

In November 2022, our company received approval for innovation funding for the 8-month project "Preliminary investigations for the development of a software solution for easily scalable and automated light simulation" from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK).

In October 2022, ITB GmbH was again certified as a subcontractor according to ASME and NQA-1 for GNS Gesellschaft für Nuklear-Service mbH for a further three years.

Since September 2019, our company has been certified as a subcontractor of GNS Gesellschaft für Nuklear-Service mbH under ASME Section III and ASME NQA-1 (Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications).
In April 2019, ITB GmbH received notification from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research that it would receive funding for the implementation of the project "Innovation Forum InnoSentriS – SME Digital Twins Platform" within the framework of the "SME Innovation Forums". The start of the 9-month funded project was 1 May 2019.

In 2014, we expanded our service portfolio to include sensitivity and robustness analyses, successfully implemented in projects for Siemens AG and Lufthansa Technik AG, among others.
Our company is characterised by continuous growth. Since 2008, we have employed more than 10 calculation engineers, with our structured and thorough induction programme ensuring that our quality standards are consistently maintained.
ITB GmbH was founded in April 2004 by 6 calculation engineers. The company founders had many years of prior experience in the field of FEM structural mechanics and the application of the Ansys software.
Since 1999, we have been using the software LS-Dyna for calculating high-speed dynamic processes, and regularly apply it, for example, to the simulation of drop tests for nuclear containment vessels.
Since the 4th CADFEM and Ansys User's Meeting in 1986 in Herrsching, we have regularly participated in the annual specialist conference as attendees and speakers – and ITB GmbH has now also been participating as an exhibitor for a number of years.
We first used the Ansys software in 1984 in the context of our work as calculation engineers in the automotive supply industry, back then in program version Ansys 4.1. We thus look back on more than 35 years of experience as calculation engineers and users of the Ansys software.
