Strength Verification

FEM-Festigkeitsnachweis: Spannungsverteilung an geschraubtem Stahlflansch mittels FEM-Analyse

Are you required to provide verification to your client, or are you a part owner or product owner responsible for the development and optimisation of a product within your organisation? Strength verification is required in more than 75% of the projects we handle. Drawing on our experience from over 2,850 successfully completed projects, we are your reliable partner for the structural assessment of your components. Depending on your requirements, we carry out the following verifications:

  • Static strength verification incl. stability assessment (buckling, lateral buckling, structural stability)
  • Verification for low stress cycles, i.e. low cycle fatigue
  • Fatigue strength verification
  • Endurance limit verification

Verification is always preceded by an analysis or determination of the component loads. Strength verification can be carried out using various assessment methods (in accordance with applicable standards). Depending on the method, elastic or plastic analysis procedures are applied to determine stresses, strains, deformations, and section forces. Verifications typically cover:

Base materials such as

  • Plates and sheets
  • Structural steel sections
  • Cast components
  • Forgings

Fasteners and joints such as

  • Weld seams
  • Bolts
  • Rivets
  • Pins

When it comes to documentation, we adapt to your needs — ranging from a concise, targeted presentation of results to a comprehensive, audit-ready report for strength verification. A significant number of our reports have already been reviewed by external assessors from various inspection bodies.
